Company story

Founded by aviation industry veterans.

CS Vertical Flight Solutions LLC was founded 26 January 2011 by aviation industry veterans. The company is headquartered in Enterprise, Alabama, minutes from Fort Novosel and the Army Aviation Center of Excellence.

CS Vertical delivers rotary-wing maintenance, contractor logistics support, and pilot and mechanic training as a subcontractor supporting Army aviation programs. Our maintainers, instructors, and program managers come from the same flight lines our customers run.

How we work

Four practices behind every task order.

These practices carry over from program to program, regardless of scope or customer.

Safety reporting

Every program includes safety assessment, auditing, and standardized reporting that meet regulatory and contractual requirements.

Quality system

Work is performed under a quality system registered to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100/AS9110, not assembled per contract.

On-site staffing

Maintainers, instructors, and program staff work on site, close to the aircraft and the customer’s schedule.

Plain communication

Status, issues, and schedule changes are reported directly to the customer, without added account-management layers.

By the numbers

15 years supporting rotary-wing programs.

Founded in 2011, CS Vertical has built a record across six rotary-wing service lines and two aerospace quality registrations.

Quality and safety commitment

Safety is built into every task order.

This carries the same ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100/AS9110 registration described above into daily task-order work, not a separate compliance layer.

Information handling is aligned with NIST SP 800-171.

What registration means day to day

ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100/AS9110 registration require a documented quality management system: written procedures for the work performed, defined process ownership, and records a third-party auditor can review.

Both standards require internal audits on a defined schedule, a corrective action process for nonconformances, and periodic management review of the system’s performance. AS9100/AS9110 add aerospace- and MRO-specific requirements on top of the ISO 9001:2015 base.

Documented procedures

Written work instructions for every task type, owned by a named process lead.

Internal audits

Scheduled audits against the standard and the contract, with findings tracked to closure.

Corrective action

Nonconformances logged, root-caused, and fixed with verification before close-out.

Management review

Leadership reviews system performance and safety data on a fixed cadence.
